Tragedy occurred at the corner of 106 street and race 54. A building being built there, apparently was not properly doing the excavations, and its foundation is not contemplated that reinforcements had to make relevant to the houses next door. Thus the houses around it ended up, literally, falling apart and sinking into the new work. Although not strictly an issue pertaining to mobility, our central topic in Mobocol, we put it here because somehow affects indirectly.
Upon arrival, several ambulances had arrived, a 3 and 2 others came later, apparently not to meet injured (I hope), but to evacuate several people who were in a house that was slightly affected, as it functions as nursing home. Police cordoned off the area and upon leaving, they were only letting a cameraman and a reporter of Caracol. Also present all the time a fire truck.
remains to be seen what will happen to the Constructure responsible. For now I assume that opens criminal investigation and possibly affected neighbors to sue the builder, or guardianship, and evidently the work will be stalled until the last reason to inquire what caused it. The construction will have to compensate those affected and, I suppose, should have caused irreparable damage will have to pay the price of the house, property and the lot.
