City Council Ermua (Vizcaya) takes 2 years to develop a school road project. The project was originally launched by the Department of Environment (Agenda 21 ) in collaboration with other municipal areas as urban planning and public safety on the one hand, and a local primary school, on the other.
During the summer of 2010 was adopted on 3 Plan for Equality of women and men in Ermua. This document , led by the Department of Equality, aims to be a general tool for equality between women and men of Ermua is a reality that enables a more just and balanced in the city.
In particular, the development of school road project with a gender perspective is considered a tool (action) to "identify and implement planning and design criteria of the city to facilitate the reconciliation of family life, personal and professional" . More information
