Bicycles to go school and promote development in Zambia


World Bicycle Relief is a nonprofit organization that is working since June 2009 with the government of Zambia (Ministry of Education) in a project to improve access to schools in the African country. Due to economic and development difficulties, the education system has no schools available for a significant proportion of the population. The bikes have been manufactured in Zambia and the project has included the formation of bicycle mechanics to achieve sustainability and erdurabilidad of this action.
